Nothing prepares me for what’s to come when I visited Howth in 2018 - a suburb on the Howth Head peninsula 15 kilometres away from central Dublin.
The harbour alone is picturesque and peaceful. I could easily spend hours here capturing the harbour life and exploring the marina.
It feels far from city life and yet so close. Outdoor lovers can walk along the Howth cliff path loop and take in the magnificent views of the coastlines and the rugged cliffs.
