Forget Me Not Plus is a boutique hotel located in the centre Eixample area of Barcelona. Tucked away on the first floor of a nondescript building in the corner of Balmes Street and Rosellón Street, it was tricky to find the first time.
Once you arrive at the hotel and step into the entrance hallway you'll be welcomed straight away by a friendly staff member. Checking in was easy and efficient. Rooms are split into two different areas on both sides of the reception and dining area.
Rooms are decorated in a minimalist style and it is rather spacious for Barcelona standard. Some rooms have city views with floor-to-ceiling french doors that open onto a small balcony. The dining and sitting area is a feature that I love most about this hotel. Buffet breakfast is served here each morning. There are two brightly coloured teal sofas with book shelves on one side of the sitting area and a coffee table. A few potted indoor plants are placed near the coffee table and a dividing pillar. On the opposite side is a large window and immediately below the window is a row of round marble top dining tables and chairs with colourful cushions. It's definitely a favourite spot during breakfast time when delicious Spanish breakfast is laid out attractively on the big table in the centre of the room with beautiful morning light streaming into the room.
