Hotel SP34 is one of my favourite hotels in the world. Located in central Copenhagen, Denmark it was opened in 2014. It has done so many things right and it is no surprise that it is so popular amongst savvy travellers. The hotel has three restaurants, one of which is called Väkst where it serves modern Nordic cuisine.
The bedroom is decorated in a minimalist style with white cream walls and all modern amenities. Breakfast is served every morning in the lower floor of Väkst restaurant where sumptuous, organic continental breakfast is generously laid out. Guests are also welcomed to use the top floor space to enjoy their breakfast. Personally, I prefer to eat breakfast on the top floor, where there is plenty of light and you are surrounded by plants and a greenhouse.
The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with contemporary artwork and each evening the lobby bar is full of energy as hotel guests enjoy their complimentary glass of wine while they mingle and exchange travel stories. There is also a reading space near the lobby where guests can pick a book or two to enjoy there or in the room.
I will not hesitate to come back here next time I visit Copenhagen.
