Geffrye Museum displays domestic period rooms in England from the 17th century to the present day. It shows how style, furniture and interior design in people's homes evolve throughout the centuries. The museum was named after a former Lord Mayor of London, Sir Robert Geffrye. Along with the museum's permanent collection, regular exhibitions and activities are also held in the museum and in the museum's walled period garden.
