Located in the south of Belfast, the botanic gardens is truly a peaceful oasis. Reopened for the first time to the public in late 1890s, the venue is a popular spot for students, locals and tourists.
My favourite part is the Palm House. It contains tropical plants, different tree species and collections from the Southern hemisphere.

Ballintoy Harbour is located in the northern part of Northern Ireland. Not only it was a popular film location but it is a picturesque harbour by the village of Ballintoy. There were not that many visitors when I came to visit.

Alnmouth is a small coastal village near the mouth of River Aln. This village has a charming high street with independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Whittling House is easy to find on the high street. You’ll go in via the main restaurant entrance where someone would greet you and take you up to your room.
